Resources for Artists #6

Hey friends, it's time again for another roundup of helpful resources! Enjoy:

Design Software

If you're looking for an alternative to Adobe's subscription based Creative Cloud, check out Affinity for professional grade design software at an affordable price. Yay!!

Video

If you're anything like me, or most of the artists I know for that matter, the idea of appearing on video is a bit horrifying. Fear not! Tors Grantham is a video coach who specializes in helping introverted, self-concious, creative entrepreneurs show up confidently in front of the camera.

Contracts

I recently started using AndCo for working with clients and I love it! Features include: send proposals, contracts, track time, send invoices, track income and expenses. Best of all it's free and there's no limit to the number of clients you can work with at a time.

Money

I don't know about you, but when I hear the phrase "know your numbers", I glaze over like a deer in the headlights. Sigh. Thankfully, Amy Northard, CPA, has created a mentorship program designed specifically for creative business owners called Be Your Own CFO with ongoing support and practical tools for managing your business finances.

Do you have any helpful resources to share? I'd love to hear!
